Rob grew up playing baseball and soccer all the way through high school. He then decided to join the United States Air Force, and spent the next 7 years as a JTAC. After several deployments overseas, he opted to separate to permanent civilian status. After four long and weary years in corporate sales, he knew that there was something more out there for him. Having a background in fitness and the love for competing in endurance events, he took a position as a personal trainer. Not too long after training individuals, he found CrossFit through a fellow trainer. CrossFit opened his eyes to a completely new world of helping people achieve their fitness goals. Coming from an extensive endurance background, he knew the aerobic side of things all too well, but beyond that it was foreign.

Over the past 6 years as a CrossFit coach, Rob made it a personal goal to learn everything he could that would allow him to be a better coach, as well as an athlete.

Rob is an air force vet, former skateboarder, founder of Third Pull Apperal, who loves to make people laugh by creating memes on instagram. He also loves music, exotic donuts, and art, as well as the grooming and caretaking of his mustache.
